About
Easy going Brazilian native grew up playing competitive tennis in his hometown São Paulo and graduated in Physical Education before moving to the United States. Worked in New York, and Florida before moving to California, I am in my 20th year as Head Coach of Woodside Priory School in Portola Valley, where bring in a relax atmosphere all my experience in competitive tennis with ATP players such as Australians Kim Warwick and Paul Kronk, Peruvian Pablo Arraya, Russian Dmitry Tursunov, and American Sandy Mayer. My experience in teaching recreational tennis at various Club Med Resorts around the world, emphasizes learning having a lot of fun.

USPTA Elite Professional, teaching for 34 years at different Tennis Clubs in New York, Florida, and California. International teaching experience at various Club Med Resorts around the world. High-performance experience with ATP players such as Australians Kim Warwick and Paul Kronk, Peruvian Pablo Arraya, Russian Dmitry Tursunov, and American Sandy Mayer.
How did you get started teaching?
I started my teaching career at a College of Physical Education in Brazil.
What types of students have you worked with?
In my 20th year as Head Coach of Woodside Priory School in Portola Valley, California, I currently coach middle and high school teams.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
A teacher should be patient, knowledgeable and fun.
