I come from an extensive background of professional, competitive ballroom dancing experience, over 35 years. My passion for dancing has propelled me to create dance programs that are unique and focused towards children, teenagers, young adults and adults. In Sacramento our business stands out for its highly acclaimed reputation of being the leading dance academy in the Greater Sacramento Area teaching students from ages 3.5 years all the way to adult from very beginners to the most advanced competitive students. Our students that have trained with me since the age of 4 years old and are now teen agers and adults and have won National and World Dance Championships and Titles. I have diplomas and certifications from the Universities of Moscow, and St. Petersburg, Russian as well as Degrees in Choreography and the Sports Academia post degrees. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
For children I prepare them by teaching coordination, musicality, team work, dancing in a group and couples dancing. We start off learning the fundamentals of dance and slowly incorporate more structured routines.
Adults usually women, or a couple. Again we train from the basics and I assess their coordination, balance and rhythm to understand what dancing will fit best with the adult student.
