I am a restaurant chef, dietitian, professor of culinary and nutrition, certified pastry chef, and food scientist. I specialize in seasonal, functional, sustainable food and cooking. I believe in being able to maintain a sound quality of life while maintaining and enhancing flavor. I teach people how to be healthy through food, without sacrificing flavor. But, I can teach you to cook whatever you like.
I enjoy guiding individuals on their path to discovering their culinary passions. I go into each recipe using wholesome ingredients that not only teach you classic culinary techniques but will not increase the waste line.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I find out what the students inspirations are, what their current cooking/baking skills are like, and then I go from there. Each plan is custom to the student, what they would like to master, taking into account the way the student learns best.
