I love dance of all kinds, but particularly partner dances - ballroom, Latin, and swing.
I love working with beginners and seeing people who think they can't dance find out how easy and fun it can be.
I also love working with dance competitors taking weekly coaching lessons and training, and helping them structure their practice and celebrate their progress over time.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We go over what they would like to learn and I teach that. If they have never danced before, I first teach how to lead and follow, how to dance to rhythm, basic dance holds, and basic turns. I then teach the basics foot patterns of the dance style they would like to learn.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been training in private lessons with various coaches for 24 years and teaching for 10 years.
