Debbi Sampson has been dancing most of her life, studying ballet, jazz, tap, musical theater, and contemporary. After being a member of three professional dance companies in Northern California, she moved to the Los Angeles area to further her dance education. Debbi studied under renowned teachers and choreographers such as Jackie Sleight and Doug Caldwell. She has also studied on the East Coast with teachers and choreographers such as Suzi Taylor, Mike Minery, and Finis Jhung. Debbi added acting to her resume appearing as Peggy Sawyer in 42nd Street and Rosemary Pelkington in How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying. She has also appeared in a local commercial made for TV. Currently Debbi teaches and choreographs for Pamelot a School of Dance and different schools in the foothill area. She is the artistic director and choreographer for Pamelot’s semi-professional performing company, Rhythm ‘n Motion where her choreography has won high awards from many regional dance competitions. Debbi Sampson enjoys choreographing, but truly loves the experience of creating a special connection with each and every one of her students.
