Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Find needs and goals of student, create a teaching plan, and start work. Usually there is 4 general purposes: learn how to dance at socials, deeper learning of dancing class material, prepare and perform showcase and competitions.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a physical culture education, which gave me a deep understanding of how uor body works, how can we use all different kinds of dynamics, how to build and develop our body possibilities. Psychologcal trainings help me understand my students, how to explain material to them, how to cheer them up, or encourage or push to the limits. And third factor is philosophical - dance as art, mind and body control, art being in present moment dancing and expressing emotions.

My lesson price is 80$ for 45 minutes. As well I have various packages options, and special offers. For example first intoductory lesson (30m) for new students is free.
How did you get started teaching?
I start teaching 14 years ago, when I was 16. That was natural develop from competitive dancer, to teaching competitive dancer. Since that time it become my profession.
What types of students have you worked with?
All kind of students. I've been working with 3 year kids, teens, adults, wedding couples, family couples, competitive and non competitive, for all different goals and reasons.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
One of my student debuted at City Lights Open, this is world open competitions, for all different kind of dancers. She won silver latin and smooth, and was very happy. Upcoming event is CDC Showcase, where many of my students will perform.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Listen to your heart. Its very important to find your teacher. There is different criterias but generally your teacher should be: qualified on high level, love their work, take care about their students.
