I have been taking private lessons from Aleksei for the past year and have been extremely happy with his instruction. He is an excellent teacher and a very talented dancer. All of his group classes are very enjoyable and his choreography is always a pleasure to learn. He is very knowledgeable in all styles of dances and is always eager to explain in detail any confusing steps. He's always prepared for his lessons and you can tell he put a lot of thought into each one. Aleksei has a very gentle manner and is very supportive in keeping his students happy. He pays special attention to details such as partner connection, footwork, and styling. Dancing with Aleksei is always a pleasure whether it be in a lesson, competition, or showcase. He makes everyone look good on the dance floor!
We love Aleksei, he is an fabulous instructor. He has the patience and ability to teach us wonderful techniques and routines. We look much better now that Aleksei is our instructor
I have taken both private and group lessons with Alexey. He is a dynamite instructor, phenomal dancer, and kind, intelligent and charismatic individual. What makes his teaching style incredible is the different ways he can explain, describe, and demonstrate what is being taught. He will take the time to walk you through what needs to be done, and explain why. Come take a lesson and see for yourself!! You will have so much fun while either taking your dancing to the next level, or just beginning!!
I took some classes in American Smooth. Aleksei's instructions and demonstrations were very clear. He taught many interesting figures. I loved it. I wish I have more time to take his classes. He is very kind and friendly. I recommend his classes to anyone who want to learn more about American Smooth.
Find needs and goals of student, create a teaching plan, and start work. Usually there is 4 general purposes: learn how to dance at socials, deeper learning of dancing class material, prepare and perform showcase and competitions.
I have a physical culture education, which gave me a deep understanding of how uor body works, how can we use all different kinds of dynamics, how to build and develop our body possibilities. Psychologcal trainings help me understand my students, how to explain material to them, how to cheer them up, or encourage or push to the limits. And third factor is philosophical - dance as art, mind and body control, art being in present moment dancing and expressing emotions.
My lesson price is 80$ for 45 minutes. As well I have various packages options, and special offers. For example first intoductory lesson (30m) for new students is free.
I start teaching 14 years ago, when I was 16. That was natural develop from competitive dancer, to teaching competitive dancer. Since that time it become my profession.
All kind of students. I've been working with 3 year kids, teens, adults, wedding couples, family couples, competitive and non competitive, for all different goals and reasons.
One of my student debuted at City Lights Open, this is world open competitions, for all different kind of dancers. She won silver latin and smooth, and was very happy. Upcoming event is CDC Showcase, where many of my students will perform.
Listen to your heart. Its very important to find your teacher. There is different criterias but generally your teacher should be: qualified on high level, love their work, take care about their students.
"Why do I want to learn dances?"
