The Dance Gallery 2 is a place that i call home! Myself and family have been with the DG2 for 12 yrs and I love everyday that i am there. The teachers/staff are incredible and all the programs that the studio offers for young teens are amazing. They give you more opportunities that no other dance studio offers including dancing in Disney parades, and beautiful breath taking productions. From our youngest 3yr old ballet class to our adult jazz and tap there is a place for everyone to shine and I am so happy to be apart of it. I highly recommend this studio to aspiring dancers of all ages.

Miss Lucy has a great studio. The teachers and teacher-helpers are amazing. The dances are adorable and their costumes are age appropriate - as is their music. We are so glad we gave this studio a try and look forward to many more seasons filled with Dance, Disney, and Smiles :)

My daughter started dancing at DG2 when she was 3 years old and is now in her 8th year. I love the choreographers that teach the dances and truly appreciate the program Miss Lucy has set up for Student Teachers and Jr. Student Teachers. It fosters in the kids a sense of ownership and pride in what they do with their dance. My daugher has been a Jr. Student Teacher for 3 years and takes such pride. The friends she has made have become her very best friends. School friends are great, but the friends she has made with the connection of their love for dance has built the strongest relationships she has. In addition to the kids, I have been dancing with the Adult Class for the past 3 years. Such an amazing group of women who all have a passion for dance and a true respect and caring for each other. I have also built amazing friendships thanks to DG2. And come June, there is no show locally like the DG2 annual performance. Friends come year after year who have no kids of their own in the show because it's such a great show.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

New students are always made to feel welcomed and leave each class with a sense of accomplishment.  I've seen it happen hunderds of times and it makes the student, the teaching and the parents smile!  DG2 is more then's an experience!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

We have been open and operating in the Roseville/Antelope area for 26 years.  As the director, I have taught dance to students and professionals ages 3 - Adults for over 45 years.  In addition for the past 18 years, I have been involved and act as assistant to the International Director of a dance program run through the Disney Company's Performing Arts program.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

Classes are paid on a monthly basis; 2017 prices are $65/mo

How did you get started teaching?

Teaching dance and developing large stage productions has been a passion for me, so it was natural for me to open my first dance school in 1970 at age 14!!!  My second in 1973 at age 18 and a third at age 21.  The rest is history!

What types of students have you worked with?

The students that attend the DG2 understand the importance of dedication to the art and unity with other dancers that makes lifelong memories and friends.  This is why we so proudly boast the success of our students, raised in an atmosphere of learning and growing , instead of competing against someone else to better develope oneself.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

Yearly our dancers are involved performances that are set to "give back" to our community through our 27 years of working with the Sutter Child Life Program and the United States Marines.  Because of my affiliation with the Disney Company, our students also have opportunity that are not available to others.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

You will never regret and always cherish your involvment at the Dance Gallery 2.
