Each session, I focus on teaching a lesson tailored specifically to each students' needs and moving step by step accordingly based on a structured syllabus. If necessary, and at no cost to the student, I am willing to go overtime with the student to ensure that they go home with a clear understanding of their piano pieces and what is expected from them in their assigned homework. This allows for our lesson in the following week's session to be as productive as possible in order for us to move on to the next level and learn new music pieces. I have been singing for well over 30 years with a background in gospel music. I also have professional experience with a B.A. in music, and Masters in Music Education. My primary instrument is voice. I enjoy helping people understand how their voice works, and how to sing using the diaphragm to support breath, and placement of tone.
