What to expect:

3) The first session is $75 to book with Sarah Elisabeth (Oct special), after that, I offer different monthly packages you can choose from based on your current vocal needs.

Ive had other vocal lessons, and none have compared. I always give up after a short while because I dont see the results. Maybe that was a mistake and I should have stayed longer, but what I do know is with Sarah, literally in the first lesson I got more than I had gotten with any other lessons. Ive now been with Sarah for a full year and have no intention on stopping. The growth that Ive had is undeniable even to myself and Im by far my biggest critic. Things I was struggling to record just 4 or 5 months ago Ive recorded recently and those struggles werent even a concern for me. I almost didnt go with Sarah in the beginning because we are in different states, but the lessons being remote dont have any impact on the quality as these are better than all of my in person lessons of the past. Highly recommend!

With great joy, I give my HIGHEST recommendation that you hire Sarah Mitchell as your new vocal coach! In addition to singing, she also teaches song writing, guitar, and piano.
Not only is Sarah a naturally gifted teacher, but she is warm, personable, and so encouraging which keeps you motivated! So enjoyable to learn from her and see yourself progress as a singer!
Additionally, she is a very organized, focused, and responsive person with excellent communication skills which makes it easy to understand her.
As a caring coach, she uses various ways of teaching to ensure that her students learn the vocal technique called Speech Level Singing. This technique is what vocal coaches on the tv show American Idol use with contestants to improve their singing! Its very effective!
When I was her student, Sarah introduced me to proper breathing, helpful warm up exercises, and had me practice singing one of my favorite songs to apply the new methods. Exciting!!
To be honest, she inspired me find my true voice. I no longer felt the need to sing a song the same way like the original artist, and I felt a greater sense of freedom to be myself as a singer! After only a few lessons, the tone of my voice improved right away, and I was able to sing with confidence!!

Wow... to be quite frank, I am naturally a shy singer and person... and i really was hesitant to delve into singing lessons. Sarah completely eased my mind right away and made me feel comfortable expressing myself through song. Ive already noticed a significant shift in my voice, in terms of the overall quality and ease of hitting high notes! I cant thank Sarah enough for the diligence and attention to detail shes put into my voice! Im very excited to continue and see what else can be accomplished in our lessons. To conclude, I wanted to mention that she also coaches you in songwriting, if that interests you! Im so thankful to Sarah, she is truly a bright light in bringing out the voice! I thought my voice was stuck the way it was.
Singing and never feeling like I could confidently hit any notes above my lower range in a strong voice. I have had many vocal teachers in the past and thought Id give vocal lessons one more chance. Im so glad I did! Sarah quickly reached out to my request and vocal magic happened!!
Sarah and her team at Soulfulwake teach using a different method than I had been taught before that really lets you set your voice up for all types of songs and notes. Ive been in lessons for 8 or so months and my singing voice has changed dramatically and I have already confidently reached notes in a strong voice like I never thought was possible. Even in the first month I noticed a difference and confidence I never had.
As with everything, trust the process and if you stick to it- lessons at Soulfulwake will change your voice to sing songs you didnt think you could. I can only imagine what my voice will continue to accomplish as I continue lessons. You will learn practice skills, troubleshooting techniques, and even learn about the science of your instrument (aka yourself) to accomplish more than you can dream of.
