Flute Specialist
About
I tailor each student's lessons to fit their needs. Together, we come up with goals to improve your playing and understanding of the flute. My students will have the opportunity to participate in recitals, audition for local ensembles, and they often reach the top chairs at their school.
I enjoy forming relationships with students and watching them develop their talent.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
As we get to know each other, we will identify the areas that we can improve. Fundamentals are essential. We will focus on tone, technique, and musicality. Most importantly, I will be dedicated to your improvement while you maintain the joy of playing the flute.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received my Bachelor of Music from Georgia State University. Throughout my 20 years of playing, I have participated in many masterclasses, ensembles, and recitals, and I continue to enjoy going to flute workshops. My wonderful teachers have included Allison Gillon and Sarah Ambrose. I am currently a member of Foothill Symphonic Winds.
