About

As I have taught swimming to all levels and ages, I cater my teaching style to the needs of the students. I work closely with the swimmer (and parents) to make sure the needs and goals of each individual student are being met.

I teach in my own Endless Pool heated to a comfortable 90 degrees year round. The mirror on the bottom, and adjustable current, make for an ideal environment to teach proper stroke technique, as the swimmer can see themselves as they are swimming. The current can be adjusted to each individual's level.

We also offer:

* Changing area

* Free WiFi

* Hot chocolate for kids

* Free snacks and drinks (coffee/tea for parents)

I have a passion for teaching swimming, and have since college. I've been teaching and coaching swimming for over 10 years, and there is nothing more satisfying than seeing a student thrive in the water.

It's unfortunate that drowning is still a leading cause of accidental death for children between the ages of 5 and 12, and its so preventable. I plan to do my part in reducing the number of drownings one swimmer at a time!

    Geoff is a very good coach. He is very patient and nice. My kids enjoy learning swim with him. My kids make very good progress after he teach them. The children already look forward to having next classes even just finish the swimming class. Highly recommend Geoff’s swimming class.

    Geoff was very patient in helping me learn each technique and skill so that I learn them. He worked at my pace and did not make me feel scared of the water. I would recommend Geoff to any one of any age who wants to learn how to swim. He genuinely wants to help you.

    Great results—my kids have become very comfortable swimming and have really enjoyed having new skills. They could tell that they were improving week to week. Great environment and very convenient location. Geoff is a fun and patient instructor.

    Geoff is very patient and kind he not only takes the time to teach your child, but also touches base and communicates well with the parent/guardian to make sure they understand what was learned during the lesson what should be practiced and asks what you would like further worked or focused on which is a wonderful quality to have in a coach!

    Frequently asked questions

    During the first lesson, I like to assess where they are, and use that to determine the lesson plan going forward.  I like to focus on their unique individual needs.

    I am a USA Swimming certified swim coach and instructor who's been teaching/coaching for 10+ years.

    I have taught all ages from 9 months to 40 years.  And, I teach all levels from the beginner to the competitive swimmer.

    I started in college as a summer job, and since then have had a passion for teaching swimming of all levels!

    I have worked with all ages from infant to 60 years old, and all levels of ability, from beginner to competitive swimming.

    Make sure you find a thoughtful coach/instructor, who really cares about the well-being and progress of your child (or yourself?), and is willing to invest the time it takes to figure out how to best serve your swimming needs.

    Is this instructor the best match for my child and his/her individual needs and goals?  Does he/she truly care about my child's success?
