I take a personal approach to teaching ccoking. I like to share the knowledge of how combing foods, spices and herbs can create not only delicious favors but be nutritional as well.
Ive been cooking and teaching for over 20 yrs for private individuals as well cooking in the industry for restaurants catering companies and resorts.
Ive also participated in a few food and wine festivals.
I love the fact that we can control what and how we eat once we underatand the importance of food and energy. I love seeing peoples' faces when they try something they never liked before and all of sudden realize yum!
Lastly, the confidence a person gets by learning something new. Wow

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to begin by having a cup of tea/coffee or favorite libation and talk about about their favorite foods and dislikes. After that , I like to share with them how to use staples in their kitchen for marinades and how to season various foods, giving them some secrets to cultural cuisines.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Cordon Bleu was as formal as they come.... but truth be told, I began cooking at the age of 7. My grandmother and father were both world class chefs. I've also trained under chefs like Xiomara, Patrick Healy, to name a few.

How did you get started teaching?
I began teaching in my mid twenties as a special Ed teacher. It was something that I feel into and simply loved the feeling of teaching something new to young mind.
As I evolved and decided to teach cooking, it became a passion to show where food comes from and how we can heal our bodies from within.

I've worked with all genders, cultures, ages. Mostly affluent and many famous faces. Have signed plenty of NDA
