Since I was very young I have been performing in the arts and I knew that I wanted to pursue this career for the long run. As a dance teacher I have the opportunity to combine my love of music and dance for each one of my students teaching rhythm, partnership, expression and technique. It gives me such fulfillment seeing my students progress and improve every day. It gives me great joy to bring my students joy.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
If you are just getting started, don't feel nervous! You are in the right place to learn how to dance, gain confidence and have fun! Before starting lessons, I would like to meet with you for an initial 45 minute session which includes a dance lesson and dance evaluation. If you are getting ready for a wedding and already have something specific in mind, I can outline how long you'll need to realize your vision. If you are throwing your hands up in the air in confusion, I can help with suggestions and recommendations to make the process easier. Whatever your dance goals may be, I will direct you in the right direction and create a game plan for you.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I teach all styles of partner dance ie. ballroom, salsa, swing, as well as ballet. I am a certified ballroom dance instructor and took my dance exams through Fred Astaire Dance Studios. I have been dancing since the age of 7 and became an instructor after I graduated college from the Boston Conservatory. I studied dance at Steps on Broadway in Manhattan among others. I competed in professional ballroom competitions on the east coast for 4 years and trained with of the top ballroom dance professionals in Massachusetts and New York. I have taught for Fred Astaire Dance studios in Boston, New York City and Pasadena. Additional education:
LA Country High School for the Arts
Boston Conservatory
USC
