Fay's Swim Lessons
About
I'm Fay, a graduating senior at UCLA majoring in Computational Biology, an interdisciplinary field that combines computer science, statistics, mathematics, and biology to solve complex problems. Alongside my academics, I am a Division I swimmer, NCAA qualifier, Big Ten finalist, and undefeated Oregon state champion who held Oregon state records for over 10 years.
Swimming has been a major part of my life, and I am passionate about sharing the knowledge, discipline, and confidence that the sport has given me. I have experience teaching swimmers of different ages and skill levels, from beginners learning water safety and stroke fundamentals to competitive athletes looking to improve technique, race strategy, and performance. As a UCLA team captain, I developed strong leadership and mentoring skills that help me connect with students and create a positive learning environment.
My goal is to help every swimmer feel confident in the water, reach their individual goals, and develop a lifelong appreciation for swimming.
