I have well over two decades of experience in person and online. I was trained as a Certificate of Merit student in Classical, including theory and technique. Uniquely, I tailor lessons to your goals. MUSIC first (theory secondarily). I teach all levels and popular genres! I can easily teach chord method, ear-training, improvisation, songwriting. I also teach guitar, ukulele and am an experienced vocal coach. I write and record in several genres as well and I am a creativity coach.

I have been playing fiddle and mandolin for over 50 years. I started violin lessons when I was in school, and began studying classical music. I soon discovered other styles of music, as well, and took a little detour from the classical world into the world of Bluegrass music and folk music.
