I have well over two decades of experience in person and online. I was trained as a Certificate of Merit student in Classical, including theory and technique. Uniquely, I tailor lessons to your goals. MUSIC first (theory secondarily). I teach all levels and popular genres! I can easily teach chord method, ear-training, improvisation, songwriting. I also teach guitar, ukulele and am an experienced vocal coach. I write and record in several genres as well and I am a creativity coach.

I have been playing fiddle and mandolin for over 50 years. I started violin lessons when I was in school, and began studying classical music. I soon discovered other styles of music, as well, and took a little detour from the classical world into the world of Bluegrass music and folk music. Practicing music is very important and it should be fun. And it is. If you make it fun. I believe music exercises and practicing scales, arpeggios etc. on an instrument should not be boring and all too often it is.
