I teach Piano, and Music Theory with Musika.com (started in 2014) and at Gill’s Music in Antioch where I have had my music teaching studio since 2018. I currently teach all ages from kindergarten to retirees, approximately 30 students and I organize their performance recitals. I studied at The Royal Conservatory of Music, Toronto, Canada: completed courses in Harmony, Music History, Theory, culminating in Piano Performance, Grade X (Honors) from 1953-1968. I have performed and toured with several music acts playing jazz, folk, country, blues and played for original singer-songwriters. I will meet the student at his level and guide the journey

I teach drums, guitar, ukulele, music production, music theory and song writing. My services stand out because I have developed my own cirriculum which puts a strong emphaiss on learning practical skills that will actually be useful in a real musical situation. I also encourage students to study music that excites them. You can learn so much from a simple pop song. I enjoy connecting with my students and help bring their musicianship to the next level. I have over thirty years of performance experience, in rock bands, concert bands, and ensembles. I’ve been coaching, and teaching private lessons for eight years. I studied under, Tom Donlinger (Van Morrison), Eugene Novotney of Humboldt State University. I attended various camps; Rock Camp, and Cazadero Music Camp.
