I teach Piano, and Music Theory with Musika.com (started in 2014) and at Gill’s Music in Antioch where I have had my music teaching studio since 2018. I currently teach all ages from kindergarten to retirees, approximately 30 students and I organize their performance recitals. I studied at The Royal Conservatory of Music, Toronto, Canada: completed courses in Harmony, Music History, Theory, culminating in Piano Performance, Grade X (Honors) from 1953-1968. I have performed and toured with several music acts playing jazz, folk, country, blues and played for original singer-songwriters. I will meet the student at his level and guide the journey

I teach drums, guitar, ukulele, music production, music theory and song writing. My services stand out because I have developed my own cirriculum which puts a strong emphaiss on learning practical skills that will actually be useful in a real musical situation. Stephen's Piano Studio, established in 2001, is located in Santa Rosa, California and caters to the surrounding areas. This piano teaching studio, run by a seasoned educator since 2001, uses the innovative Australian-developed "Simply Music" method. This unique approach is playing-based, covering a multitude of styles including blues, classical, and contemporary, and introduces music reading at a later stage.
