I teach Piano, and Music Theory with Musika.com (started in 2014) and at Gill’s Music in Antioch where I have had my music teaching studio since 2018. I currently teach all ages from kindergarten to retirees, approximately 30 students and I organize their performance recitals. I studied at The Royal Conservatory of Music, Toronto, Canada: completed courses in Harmony, Music History, Theory, culminating in Piano Performance, Grade X (Honors) from 1953-1968. I have performed and toured with several music acts playing jazz, folk, country, blues and played for original singer-songwriters. I will meet the student at his level and guide the journey

I teach drums, guitar, ukulele, music production, music theory and song writing. My services stand out because I have developed my own cirriculum which puts a strong emphaiss on learning practical skills that will actually be useful in a real musical situation. I have been playing fiddle and mandolin for over 50 years. I started violin lessons when I was in school, and began studying classical music. I soon discovered other styles of music, as well, and took a little detour from the classical world into the world of Bluegrass music and folk music.
