My name is Gianmaria Di Filippo, I am 20 years old and I come from Italy, I have been playing tennis for 10 years and for an extended period I have played professionally, I am an instructor certified by the Italian Tennis Federation and by the Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) association and I currently play in a team at a collegiate level.
Tennis is my passion since I was 10 years old, I’ve always enjoyed playing this sport professionally and as a hobby. I believe this sport teaches discipline and responsibility, as well as valuable life lessons.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My typical process for working with a student depends on the level of the student, based on their level, I change my way to approach with the student. If they're a kid I base the lesson on teaching fundamental skills and on having fun; if they're an advanced player, I base the teaching on improving skills and play points or real matches to make him or her comfortable during real competition.
