Frequently asked questions

I start out by asking their dance goals and help them acheive them.

I have been dancing since 1989 and teaching since 1992. I have taught thousands through group classes and through SJSU. I have recieved coaching from some of the top level national and world level coaches.

I start with $50 for the first lesson so that we can get a feel for my teaching style and see if we are a fit. I charge $80 per lesson. Each lesson is 45 minutes long and I offer a $50 discount if they buy 10 lessons at a time.

I started teaching when I realized I prioritized dance over everything, especially my job. I found I had a knack for passing on not only the dance but the passion for it.

I have worked with kids in all grades starting at 5th grade. I have taught at Elementary, middle and high schools and of cours at a University where I am currently employed. I have worked with non dancers as well as accomplished competitors.

I am proud of all my students who perform at my showcases that I have produced for the passed 20 years.

Ask a lot of questions. remeber they are there for you and not the other way around. Make sure they will fulfill your needs and not try to sell you a program.

Does or can this teacher teach the way I learn or can they only teach in the way they were taught.
