I believe that singing is a skill, not a talent, and that anyone with the proper training can learn how to sing. I have been coaching voice for two years, the last professionally, and have worked with students in person and remotely to help them with their show and college auditions.
I am a vocal music major at Pasadena City College, was a California Arts Scholar, and have won several awards for vocal music performance. I have studied classical voice and musical theatre privately for six years, and have been singing since I was a small child in both community and professional settings.
I have reasonable rates and am looking to build my client base.
Luna is an amazing singer and vocal teacher. She has the utmost patience and care for her students in vocally developing control and performance. When I struggled with notes and breath, she used different teaching methods to help me gain better control over my own voice. She also helped me find audition material for musical theater suitable for my vocal range.
Luna was very helpful to younger students in my program in helping them select appropriate audition material and level up for the roles they were going for. She's great at inspiring confidence in inexperienced singers and helps students with some experience find their best voice. She is also good at getting actors to become better musical theatre performers.
I range test you to determine what is happening with your voice and what your biggest challenges and strengths are with your technique, then talk with you about goals and come up with milestones for those goals which we work towards together.
