He was the assistant coach at the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire from 2014-16 and then went on to be an assistant at the University of Chicago from 2016-2019. Card has been teaching swim lessons since 2008 and has taught all ages 3-83 and can teach at any level from beginner to expert. He created work out plans for triathletes, national champions, age group champions, Ironman racers, and for general fitness.

When you work with Card you can expect a written out drill sheet of the drills and workouts given that day. If you buy a package, you have the option to receive workouts to conduct on your own as well as work towards any goals you might have set for yourself.

I am, at heart, a problem solver. I realized some time ago that every one has a different style of getting through the water. This is because everyone has a different body shape and therefore must use different techniques.

I like to see the client happy with their performances and progress within each lesson. I like the light switch that clicks on when the client finally understands what we are trying to accomplish.
