Piano Studio of Alita Lake offers year-round private piano instruction and classes for students of all ages and levels. The studio is located on the border of Palo Alto and Menlo Park and features a Baldwin grand piano, a digital Yamaha Clavinova and a Yamaha upright piano.

Biography Carl Franzen, Voice Teacher and Operatic Tenor San Jose, California For as long as I can remember, I was always singing. As a child, I sang endlessly with my mother's phonograph records, ranging anywhere from Mario Lanza to Nat King Cole and the classic musicals like Carousel and Oklahoma. My grandmother was really the one to encourage me to find my musical talents. In Elementary school I wanted desperately to play a musical instrument. I really wanted to play the piano most of all. But I didn't get a piano until my senior year of high school. The first instrument the music instructor gave me was a flute, which was a failure. Next...

I have my own piano studio at home. I have 2 master degrees that are piano performance and teaching secondary education in Music. For my teaching experience, I have taught at piano gifted program of an elementary and a high schools as well as a college over 8 years in Taiwan. Also, I have received my teaching credential and taught group keyboard and string orchestra in public schools since 2022.
