About
USTA Certified Tennis Instructor--I teach all age groups from 5 years old to 80+!
To complement my techniques I use a tennis ball machine and I teach in 1.5 hour blocks for one of the lowest fees in the San Francisco Bay Area.
I can travel within a 25-30 mile radius for an additional $10 and still stay as one of the most affordable rates in the area. In addition to tennis I include nutrition and fitness conditioning to my program.
When you sign up for my classes, you'll not only learn the game but to be fit as well!

Frequently asked questions

I assess their abilities (hand-eye coordination, athleticism, etc) then go from there.
Each student is different therefore I employ a customized approach.

I am a USTA Certified Instructor plus I have over 30 years of playing and coaching experience
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge per 1.5 hour block instead of the usual 1 hour.
1 hour is too short to learn anything significant, plus I firmly believe in teaching rather than focusing on the money I can make per hour.
How did you get started teaching?
I started when I was in the military--I taught many varied groups and went from there.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have taught all ages from 5 years old to 80+
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Coaching high school teams and making the league play off...twice back to back
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for someone who is passionate and who focuses on the student's well being and progress rather than someone who's in it for the money
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Consider the teaching methodology and someone who uses advanced technology to accelerate the learning process
