About
I experience the world through a creative eye. As a professional dancer, choreographer and actor; I’ve been fortunate to celebrate our youth and others by coaching them in Performance Education for the last ten years. From my growth of being on film, tv and stage my guidance in fitness has always been a forefront but I take pride as a mentor shining light on mental health because it should be part of our nutrition. Simultaneously the tactical and technical relations of working in Fashion and Production has sharpen my vision to the steady dedication of a detailed oriented lens to bring the simple habit of awareness, including but not limited through; self-love, expand knowledge, develop skills and grow within. Today I work to improve, motivate and achieve the simple act of kindness through the art of listening by focusing on the wellbeing of our community. Let’s celebrate the process of our growth and not just the end goal. Be kind and Love. #Juanlove
As we connect and dissect the art, it allow us to grow within and share our common form of expression. As a mentor I celebrate the process and growth from the art understanding that gives us that yearning to excel.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We start with a fundamental warm up and asses the areas where we need to focus on. Everyone is at different levels and we all learn in different ways so it's important for me truly understand how your motor skills and kinesiology connect to the steps. Later on we focus on building the vocabulary and creating a narrative. My goal is to build the knowledge of the art so in no time you can express yourself with poetry.
A very similar process with acting. We decipher what are strong points and what needs to be strengthen. We break down the basics 5 W's of Utah Hagen, Stanislavski & UCB(for Improv). We do some on camera training and develop the comfort and ease that every casting director wants to see when receiving submissions. We work on scene study, cold reading, monologue, character development & Improv. Understanding both techniques of tv vs. theater.
