About
I have trained as a dancer for many years, and I am currently a college student majoring in dance. I have multiple styles that I offer: ballet, jazz funk, heels, hip hop, and modern. I love teaching and always have. I enjoy teaching dance and also how to use these tools learned through dance into the professional world in various ways. I believe dancers are equipped to deal with life's obstacles through their endurance and strength that they use in the studio.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I start by asking them how long they have danced for, and what is their training back ground. I then teach a warm up, and observe for their basic knowledge of alignment. I go on to teach a barre (I start simple with a new student.) I look to find any areas that need strengthening and attention through out my class, and give corrections when needed. I make sure to make my new student feel comfortable, and at ease in my presence, as I am there to help the student grow and improve.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have trained at Millennium Dance Complex for over 7 years, as well as The Edge Performing Arts, Movement Lifestyle, and other various studios in the Los Angeles area. I also am finishing up my associates degree in Dance, as well as my teachers certification for teaching dance k-12.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My standard rate per hour is $75. However, I may be open to a sliding scale system, if needed.
How did you get started teaching?
