Capitol City Dance Academy

We are Sacramento’s newest Classical Dance Academy, specializing in the education and development of Classical Ballet training. Capitol City Dance Academy provides a classical dance education program that cultivates a solid foundation for our dancers. We offer classes in jazz, tap, contemporary, and musical theatre along with our classical ballet training program, allowing the student exposure to all disciplines. CCDA’s focus is on creating a well-rounded dancer who will exude confidence in class, on stage, and in their everyday life. Our professional studio creates an environment where the creative process is nurtured and dancers are trained from experienced and knowledgeable faculty and guest instructors.

CCDA is a privately owned dance studio that provides a high standard of quality in our training with emphasis on caring instruction in a positive and professional environment. CCDA implements the Vaganova Method of Classical Ballet, along with elements of the Balanchine Method. We work with our students on attaining proper alignment, technique, strength, endurance and musicality, as well as educating them on the history of dance. We are thrilled to bring lifelong ballet education and formal training to the Natomas community and surrounding city of Sacramento. We look forward to seeing you in class!
