Ben's Tennis Camps
About
As a former varsity tennis player at Cherry Creek High School, I have been sharing my passion for tennis with younger kids for over eight years of coaching experience. My coaching development began as a camp counselor at the Jewish Community Center Summer Tennis Camps. Currently, I organize my own tennis camps and offer private tennis lessons for all ages and all levels, though my specialty is spreading joy to younger kids just getting into the sport and preparing intermediate players for the next step into high school tennis. I take pride in the creativity of my lessons and the innovative ways through which I develop essential skills for players, while promoting an early love for this lifelong sport.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My approach is different for every skill level and age, but generally for beginners and younger children I begin with footwork games and coordination exercises to help them develop a natural feel for athleticism, while incoroproating the mechanics of different shots into each lesson through a variety of drills and games. As for intermediate, advanced players I begin by assessing their strokes and addressing their needs for the growth of their game.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have eight years experience of coaching and varsity playing experience at Cherry Creek High School. Currently, I am a student at CU Boulder studying Chemical Engineering. My education has developed an engineering mindset through which I generate the creativity of my lessons.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$20/hr for beginners. $30/hr for intermediate, advanced.

I started teaching at the Jewish Community Center as a camp counselor for the summer tennis camps. That is when I discovered how fulfilling it is to share my passion for the sport with younger kids by spreading joy and watching their excitement as they grow their game.

I've worked with all levels and all ages, though the majority of my work has been with beginner, intermediate kids aged 5-12.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
An event I am fond of is my recent discovery of the power of meditation in finding inner peace and raising my vibrational frequencies through radiating love, happiness, and fulfillment through a heightened consciousness.
