Dani Roth Voice Studio
About
Dani Roth has over 15 years experience in providing musical theatre voice and acting training to ages 5-22. I provide individualized voice and acting lessons to students of all ages. Through a repertoire-based teaching system, my students add songs/material to their personal repertoire while receiving a strong and healthy foundation in the fundamentals of singing, learning terminology and the mechanics of phonation, and developing their own unique voice. With a strong background in musical theatre and directing, I also coach mu students on the performance of each song. I give each student a clear lesson plan with goals, a practice regimen, and achievement levels. I approach lessons with a belief that I'm not only providing students with comprehensive training that is instrumental in their growth as artists, but also with the goal to boost their self-confidence, inspire their passion for the performing arts, and broaden their communication skills.
I believe strongly in the power of music and art and have seen firthand how it can truly change lives. What is most inspiring is watching each student grow in confidence. I love empowering young people with the tools to find their own voice and their own truths through the performing arts!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I talk with the student (and parent) about what the student's past experience is, what their goals are, and what kinds of material they are interested in working on. I usually start a first lesson by vocalizing a student to see what their range and abilities are. Then I have a student sing something they know for me so I can see what shape their instrument is in and so I can see their level of performance and ability. Then I teach them something brand new to see if my teaching style works for them. Then I give the parent and student a brief evaluation of the students strengths and weaknesses and administer an overall "plan" for progress.
