About Allegra Dance Greenwich
Allegra Dance Greenwich, located in Greenwich, CT, is a school of ballet, pointe, jazz , tap, modern dance, contemporary, acro dance and hip hop dance. Allegra provides the ideal dance education for all our students by adhering to the philosophy that dance is an art, not a competitive sport. Students with professional aspirations are able to make a seamless transition into the college and professional dance worlds. Students who dance for recreational purposes are able to do so in a positive, supportive, and non-competitive environment. Allegra believes in inspiring a passion for dance while nurturing creativity and confidence. Allegra believes in giving back to the community through dance and does so throughout the year with performances and fundraisers in the community.
Allegra Dance Greenwich students are given the tools to develop strong dance technique, artistic ability, self-confidence, and a passion for the art of dance. Students' individual talents, abilities and goals are encouraged and nurtured.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
New students are invited to take a free trail class. This experience allows the student to see what our classes are about and for us to see what level the student is on .
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Tuition during the regular school year is based on how many classes are taken in a semester. We have two semesters:
Fall September-January
Spring February-May (recital season)
Summer Camp, Boot Camp, Intensives and regular classes:
End of June - Beginning of August
Our summer classes are flexible in that students do not have to attend every class or every week.
Tuition is based on Weeks or Days attended.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
When looking to hire a teacher, look at their background and try one of their classes first. This way you will truly know if their teaching style is what you are looking for.
