Vuk is an international dance competitor and instructor from the Stamford/New York/Jersey area. A former ballroom champion who won many titles in Serbia in the Latin and Standard categories, he also was amateur Rhythm champion in several US competitions.
He is Grand Master Certified in Latin dance and Master Level Certified in Rhythm, Standard and Smooth in the DAVIDA dance organization.
Vuk is as passionate about teaching as he is about competing. He brings his love of the sport to his teaching style, believing that positive reinforcement and fun are as important as the hard work it takes to become a beautiful dancer. Whether you are interested in performing in showcase events, participating in ballroom competitions, taking up a new hobby or exercise routine or looking like a star on the dance floor of a local club, Vuk can help you reach your personal goals.
He welcomes anyone from beginner to advanced dancers as well as couples interested in choreographing their "first dance" at their wedding or trying a new sport together. He has been teaching dance for more than seven years and is proficient in teaching all style of ballroom and dances including Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Viennese Waltz, Cha Cha, Rhumba, Bolero, Swing, Jive, Argentine Tango, Salsa, Bachata, Hustle and West Coast Swing.
