Rebecca Moore is an accomplished professional dancer, choreographer, and director who has toured all over Europe, Dubai, and the United States working with modern dance company, Pilobolus, and shadow dance troupe Catapult, performing on America's Got Talent in the final rounds at Radio City Music Hall. Holding a Masters of Fine Arts in Dance from Sarah Lawrence College, Rebecca has an extensive knowledge of dance technique, anatomy, history, stage direction, and program development. She has presented choreography and produced shows throughout NYC and CT, including the New Haven Arts and Ideas Festival, CoolNY Festival, DUMBO Dance Festival, and the White Silo Winery. Teaching affiliations include the Pilobolus Institute, Learn With Action, FineLine Theatre Arts, Chelsea Piers Dance Academy, and Sarah Lawrence College. Rebecca inspires students of all ages to move in a fun, focused, and supportive learning environment.
The best part of my job is sharing the joy of dance with others! I love to see students learn new skills and express their creativity.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We discuss your dance goals and I recommend a lesson plan. I can come to your home for the lesson or we can use a dance space for an additional rental fee.
I teach:
Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop, Modern, Creative Movement, Improvisation, Social Dance (Weddings).
I choreograph:
All different styles for performances, talent shows, weddings, etc.

I am a devoted choreographer, performer, and dance educator with an MFA in Dance, over 14 years of teaching experience, and have performed with world-renowned modern dance companies.

How did you get started teaching?
I have been dancing since I was 4 years old, therefore dance instruction has always been a part of my life!

There are many dance styles to choose from. Look for an instructor who specializes in the area of dance that you'd like to focus on.
