About
I provide private vocal training for the beginner, advanced, and professional singer. My approach is practical so the student understands and impliments the elements of good vocal production. With over 20 years of teaching experience, including college level, I tailor my approach to the specific needs of the student. Student successes include college auditions, professional theater, Broadway, singing teachers and Opera. I bring my experience as a performer, master teacher, vocal coach, singing instructor, acting and performance coaching to help students meet and surpass their singing goals.
I am a member of the National Association of Teacher of Singing and Actors Equity.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
All lessons begin with a warm-up which is a series of vocal exercises that help establish and build vocal technique. The warm-up also serves to "warm-up" the voice in preparation for singing. Vocal technique is the foundation for singing.
After the warm-up, we work on songs. I usually choose songs that are appropriate to the level of the student. We work on different parts of the song that may be difficult, then put those together and sing the entire song.
