What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
-
I would suggest that you thoroughly read reviews and profiles, and that you first and foremost are sure the teacher is qualified. You want to make sure you are dealing with a true professional with a lot of experience. Be weary of quotes that are too low and profiles that are too vague. You want to know exactly what kind of knowledge and experience the teacher has, as well as if they can handle all types of students and styles. Teaching voice and acting isn't always an exact science, but you definitely don't want to waste money or time on someone who isn't qualified and/or willing to work on your specific needs.
