Tutoring services I provide focus on the goals of the student and monitoring progress through various academic and art enrichment activities in the subject areas of (foreign language and music education).

-American Sign Language
Bachelor of Arts Degree in Deaf Studies, with Honors 2017 from CSU Northridge
Tentative Fall 2017: MA in ASL Interpretation & Translation at Gallaudet University
-Languages: ASL (Fluent), Spanish (Basic conversation, grammar, reading, writing)
-Music: Flute, Piano (Only chord blocks), Vocals (Currently not active in music lessons in this specialty)
Work Experience: After-School Group Teacher (1st & 2nd grade), Tutor for various SES (Supplemental Educational Services) Providers in the subjects of English/Math. Colllege level private tutoring in Spanish, Music theory, and English composition.
Awards: Bay Area Black Music Awards, National American Miss Teen Pageant (2nd runner-up, 1st runner-up for spokesperson, 1st runner-up for talent, and 1st place for modeling)
Thererfore, as a result of formal, academic and professional training in the tutoring industry and educational setting, I make sure the client's needs are met by inquiring about their inital goals and expectations for the lesson, in order to partner with the client in attaining those goals
Being a partner in the educational and developmental process of the client's educational and/or professional pursuits, specificially in the areas of languages and music, has allowed me the opportunity to be able to learn the student's strength and weaknesses, as well as improve upon my own.

-Pre-assessment of the students skills in the first meeting.
-Etablish goals, logitics, policies and procedures of lessons via contract.
-Diversified assignments are appointed after each lesson to prepare for the next lesson.
-Student performs or presents assigned work to instructor per lesson.
-Post-assestment will be administered upon completion of lessons.
-After an accumulation of lessons, the student will acquire a final portfolio to use for later use.

Prices for youth music/language lessons varies on the student's level.

· -English: $40-60/hr, $20-40 per half hour
· -ASL: $40-60/hr, $20-40 per half hour
· -Spanish: $40-60/hr, $20-$30 per half hour
· -French: $20 (Flate rate), $10 (Half hour)
Working for Supplemtnal Educational Service providers, after-school program instruction, teaching assistant positions in community college settings.
Elementary and community college-level.
Graduating with my Bachelor's of Art degree in Deaf Studies from CSU Northridge, performing the National Anthem in ASL at CSU Northridge's Commencement Ceremony 2017 and vocal performance at CSU Northridge's Black Graduation Commencement Ceremony 2017.
