About

We start our swim program with teaching stress-free submerging ( going underwater ), water entry ( jump in deep water ), flotation ( front and back ), and treading water. The swimmer can progress from a level of "blowing bubbles" to joining our "Stroke Clinic" program. No matter the swim skill level, age, or comfort in the water, a student can always learn the most needed in private lesson instruction. For young students, we offer educational swim games, instilling confidence in the water by creating a friendly and fun atmosphere.

Our testimonial book comes to prove our success in teaching younger and older swimmers alike, who achieved water safety, acclimatization to water, or overcoming a fear of water.

For the advanced students, Aquatic Stars offers tutoring on endurance swim training, stroke improvement, competitive swimming skills, competitive swim starts and turns, and preparation for swim race events.

When learning with Aquatic Stars you will discover your hidden swimming potential!

We help children to enjoy swimming and be safe in the water!

Tony and Anna have been teaching my son to swim for over five years now, first in private lessons with Anna and then in Stroke and Turn class with Tony. They are great teachers and very patient with kids. My son is now an incredibly strong swimmer who loves being in the water, thanks to Tony and Anna.

I chose in my mid-40s to face my life-long fear of water. I never went near an ocean, lake or pool. I took private lessons with Tony. He helped me understand the nature of fear of water and how to confront it. Over the course of time, I not only got in the pool but ultimately learned to swim the backstroke and to jump into the deep end of the pool and tread water. I also began learning to swim the traditional freestyle. I intend to return and get over my last hurdles but the fact that I no longer feel terror around water is something I never thought I would achieve in my life. Tony helped me overcome my biggest fear in life and was incredibly patient throughout the process. Im grateful.

Tony was an outstanding teacher for my son. My son had struggled with learning swimming at the local YMCA and I was worried his anxiety and limited athleticism would make it very difficult for him to learn swimming. Tony was very patient and has a gift for working with children of all backgrounds and abilities. My son has become a confident swimmer who enjoys the activity thanks to Tony.

Coach Tony has been working with my son off and on for several years now. He was doggy paddling when we started, so his overall growth has been tremendous; he just recently earned his intermediate trophy by swimming 1 lap of each of the 4 main strokes!
Part of the reason I think that Coach Tony is so effective is that he strikes the right balance between having fun, working hard and concentrating on technique. He loves coming to class every week. We highly recommend Coach Tony.

Our 9 year-old son has autism and, at around age 7, developed a fear of going in the swimming pool. He started lessons with Tony and has not only overcome his fear, but is now able to swim on his own. Tony has been incredibly patient and encouraging, trying lots of different approaches. We highly recommend him.

I enjoyed my semi-private lessons with Tony. He matched the instruction to our skill level and I was very pleased with the progress I made from week to week.
