Elaine began playing violin at the age of 3, learning through the Suzuki method, and began playing trombone at age 10. She has been a dedicated teacher since 2013. As a certified Suzuki Teacher, Elaine believes music instills essential life skills like patience, perseverance, and a beautiful heart, as emphasized by Suzuki's philosophy. With over ten years of teaching experience, she is dedicated to nurturing young musicians with kindness and involving parents to strengthen family bonds. Howdy! I am a licensed music educator in Ohio, where I have taught music for now 6 years! I am currently a middle school band teacher so I have lots of great tips and tricks for beginner students as well as more advanced advice for students looking for a challenge on just about every instrument. My philosophy of teaching is simple: let’s have FUN. Music at its core is supposed to be enjoyable, so I strive to make every lesson engaging and dynamic and full of the magic that lives in the spirit of music. Suzuki Music Columbus, founded in 2007, is a dedicated nonprofit organization located in Columbus, Ohio and its surrounding areas. They provide Suzuki violin, viola, and cello lessons to children of all ages. Originally part of Capital University Community Music School, the Suzuki faculty, students, and community took initiative to continue Suzuki education in Central Ohio when the University eliminated the community music school.

Founded in 2005, Chad Greenwald Music Studio, located in Dublin, OH, specializes in providing music lessons in a variety of instruments, including violin, viola, cello, bass, guitar, percussion, and piano. With nearly a decade of private teaching experience, Chad Greenwald, an alumnus of Ohio State University, has been instrumental in guiding several students to superior rankings and college scholarships.
