I recently retired from the music faculty of Palm Beach State College, where I taught from 1989 to 2024. I coordinated and taught all the music theory courses, and also taught music appreciation, private voice, and private percussion, and directed the Concert Chorus from 1990-92 and 2021-24. Performance credits involve five productions with the South Florida Opera Company, and one with the Palm Beach Atlantic University Opera Workshop, eight years singing with Espressivo, nine years performing (percussion) with the Orchid City Brass, and longtime choral section-leader positions with various churches, including Bethesda-by-the-Sea Episcopal

I am excited about teaching each student, and take pride in seeing my students learn the basics of music. I learned to play piano by ear and a young age. I was apart of jazz band in college where i took music theory. My knowledge of music will take my students to the level in their learning.

I've performed and auditioned for some of the biggest names and shows. I understand the physical output of consistent performance. I love seeing how students transform into Artists. To perform is an art form that inquires self-exploration and discovery. To see students find their inner strength and confidence unfold is beautiful, along side their growth talent growth. Art is more then just being talented. It is the gateway to the human experience.
