What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The process is a little different for everybody, it's a combination of where the student is and what their goals are. So I always start with a simple conversation about these things.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm crazy about tennis I play every day and I've been playing since I was 6. I played in college and am uspta certified.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Starts at 60$ an hour and goes up if i have to travel.
How did you get started teaching?
My grandma was a tennis instructor and it always seemed like the best job to me!
What types of students have you worked with?
2 year olds to 82 year olds.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Just make sure you like them and they are progressing you towards your goal.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Just kind of figure out your schedule and your goals, realize the more times you're able to play per week the quicker you will improve.
