About
Although I've lived in the United States for most of my life, I was born in Havana, Cuba. I studied drums and percussion at UNLV under Frank Gagliardi. During that time, I also took conga lessons from Rogelio Darias, percussionist for Liberace, and piano at the Community College under Cynthia Harris Ryan. I also studied the Berklee College of Music Course, Music Theory and Keyboard under Paul Schmeling piano department chair at Berklee College of Music.
My life took a surprising turn when I became interested in business. At age 21, I became a General Contractor. After thirty-eight years in construction, I gave it all up to follow my dream of playing music. I converted my office into a music studio and have been teaching ever since.
