Al is a sensational teacher and even better person.. He genuinely cares about his students and it’s been nothing but a pleasure learning from him. Al builds your game from the bottom up and gives you sound fundamentals that will keep you alive and in the game. I have shaved strokes off my card after less than a month of working with Al. Sound putting drills and simple fundamental movements will get you where you want to be. Next step is getting my fade to turn into a draw!

An amazing golf teaching professional! I just had my first lesson with Al Fulvi. His building block approach focusing on basic techniques is really a good match for my skill level but would be a good fit for anyone. Al has a great deal of patience which was greatly appreciated considering that I have many bad golf habits that I've picked up over the years. I told Al that my pitching and chipping were something I really didn't have an idea how to do. During my first hour lesson, Al taught me what the technique should be for pitching and after 15 minutes of him patiently telling me what I was doing right and wrong, my shots started to go mostly on the practice green! This was very exciting to me considering that in the past a good amount of them would have been sculled or duffed. I'm looking forward to taking more lessons with Al and am going to diligently do the homework assignments he gives to help reinforce the lessons. Thank you so much for referring me to Al!

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Look for a teacher that has experience, knowledge, and most importantly a personality that you can relate to.  Also, one that loves to teach and is truly concerned with YOUR success.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

A teacher can show you how to fill your needs.  Ask your self if you are willing to apply your self and do the hard work to accomplish them.  There are no magic wands.
