About
PGA Award-winning golf instructor for over 25 years. JOHN HAYES, www.johnhayesgolf.com, award-winning PGA Teaching Pro at Chi Chi's Golf Range, has learned to teach from the legendary PGA Hall of Famer, Manuel de la Torre, who helps the student understand the motion of the club and what must be done to produce good shots. Practice putting your intent on the correct action with the club so you are not under the spell of the golf ball (future results) that will only give you "ball-concern" (fear and anxiety about those future results) instead of experiencing the freedom and joy of the swinging of the golf club. Don't waste your valuable practice time - get a plan! Understand the correct fundamentals and build a swing based on sound principles that do not change. Any swing problems must have the correct diagnosis to be solved. One of the tenets of Manuel's teaching is that the student should not be asked to do something that can be overdone. You don't want to do something that can get you in trouble down the road. THE MORE YOU DO IT - THE BETTER YOU SHOULD PLAY! I want to be part of YOUR TEAM to help you play better golf. The lessons are done on good quality turf with quality range balls. Don't worry about the summer heat as we have the option to do the lesson under a sun cover with a fan on a top quality Fiberbuilt mat! John Hayes - PGA Award-winning golf insructor at Chi Chi's Golf Range.
It is fun to help people understand that they can do what must be done, with the club, to hit great golf shots. To swing a club from one shoulder forward and let it go over the other shoulder can be done by anyone; the golf swing is not as complicated as it is made out to be.

How did you get started teaching?
I saw PGA and World Golf Teachers Hall of Famer, Manuel de la Torre, do a seminar and I had never seen a teacher make things so understandable and help every student there.
