About
I offer a variety of music lessons for students of all ages. My speciality is Voice (with 20 years of experience)
I also teach Piano, Clarinet, Sax, Flute, and general music lessons for the elementary student who just wants more music than they get in school.
I have my masters in Vocal Performance and Literature from the University of Illinois, performance experience in opera and musical theatre, and have had over ten years of teaching experience in the public school system.
I love the art of teaching and learning, and look forward to giving you or your child a fun and safe environment to learn through music.
I love to see a student have the "Ah-Ha" moment. The joy that fills the room is a rush. I also enjoy getting to know people and help to enrich their lives with music. We learn so much about ourselves through playing and singing music.

How did you get started teaching?
I began teaching clarinet in high school and moved to teaching voice in undergrad. I have maintained a private voice studio for 15 years and now am opening up to other instruments as well.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students from elementary to retirement age.
