What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Depending on the age and ability. For children 10 and under learn through play.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been teaching swimming to all ages and abilities and disabilities for 25 years
How did you get started teaching?
I love to help people, its apart of my DNA. Fulfilling a purpose that i know i was created for. Helping and teaching. A girl in my swim class needed help learning how to swim and i helped her. I have been teaching ever since.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have swam with people with any ability and disability
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
My student was extremely terrified of the water she would not even want to get in the pool without some theatricals. By the end of the summer she was swimming laps across the pool. I am so very proud of my little swimmer.
