Hello! I am a tennis instructor from Argentina with five years of experience in the field. I taught tennis lessons in Argentina for a year before coming to study in the US. Here, I had the chance to play tennis at a prestigious school called Saint Leo University, located in Florida (ranked #1 in the country in Division 2). As a tennis instructor, I worked in many different places like New Hampshire, Connecticut, and Florida. My main focus is for people to have fun and at the same time learn and improve their skills in this beautiful sport. I am passionate about being able to transmit my love for the sport to other people and see their improvements. I teach people of all ages and levels, making sure that each lesson is according to the level and ability of each player.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, we do a first lesson where the level and characteristics of the player are evaluated. We also talk with the student about their goals. That way we can have a clear plan to follow in the following sessions to make sure we meet the student's expectations.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have played tennis competitively my entire life. Also, I have been passionate about observing small technical and tactical details in all players. Several years of experience teaching gives me the ability to find and improve those details that can be crucial in the development and improvement of a player.

How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching tennis at an academy in Buenos Aires, Argentina where I worked for a year before coming to the US. Then I worked for a summer at a summer camp in New Hampshire. The following three summers I worked for a private club in Norwalk, Connecticut, the first two summers being an Assistant Pro, and this past summer as the Head Pro of the club.
What types of students have you worked with?
I work with players of all levels and ages, from kids to adults. Also, lessons can be private or semi-private.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
The key is to find a coach who can make you enjoy this sport and at the same time improve your skills. It is also very important to fully trust the instructor. Sometimes the process to see significant changes take a little time, which is why finding a coach you trust is the key.
