My name is Rick Ellis and I am from Cincinnati, OH. I recently moved down to Clearwater, Florida to pursue my passion for the game of golf. I have been playing the game since I was 5 years old. I played High School Golf for Colerain High School in Cincinnati. I have played in multiple golf tournaments since I was 15 years old. Notable ones consist of multiple U.S. Open Qualifiers, U.S. Amateur Qualifiers, Public Links Qualifiers, and Metropolitan Amateur Championships throughout Cincinnati. I played on the Golf Channel Amateur Tour and Golfweek Amateur tour. I have maintained a scratch handicap over the past 10 years. I want to be able to share my passion for the game to multiple age groups, juniors, seniors, and anybody that wants to share the same passion for the game as I do. I have taught lessons since I was 17 years old. A lot of family and friends have asked for lessons throughout the years. It's a great feeling to watch a student get better at the game and enjoy it to the fullest. I privately taught players at the University of Cincinnati when I attended there. I am able to provide video analysis, short-game lessons, and multiple different aspects of the game. I have an extensive knowledge of teaching from being a good player and from studying the game extensively.
