What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Get to know the student and work with him on or her on their level
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As long as I have golfed I've always had the desire to help others improve their game helping hand or training others has been second nature to me
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $60 per hour golf instruction I have a 1 hour minimum
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching golf mostly when I was playing with others who was struggling with the game and getting frustrated golf is really a mental game you have to get over your frustrations and ego to play the game well I've been told I have a calming spirit can I speak wisdom in logic two people so they are able to Think Through the game rather than react
What types of students have you worked with?
I enjoy working with beginners people who have not already picked up bad habits but I also like working with people who are truly trying to improve their game
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently worked with a pro who was heading to Pinehurst it was truly a joy to watch him at the practice range he was self-taught for the most part and practice meditation he has perfected his swing and every degree he had one small flaw was breaking his arm at the top which he adjusted quickly and went on to play the tournament
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find the teacher that is patient and is willing to work with you on your level one that invests the time to get to know you
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Every student is unique in their own way structure should be the one to reach out to the student
