Private Swim
About
Hello! Welcome to my Private Swim Fin page. My journey into swim instruction began short of 2 years ago with an introduction into private swim lessons and instructional coaching. I developed more as a swim instructor with the opportunity to work as a special needs and learning differences physical education coach. I have experience working with mommys and children under the age of 12 months as well. It's important to recognize that I teach students a unique lesson plan fit for their needs. I do not teach ISR styled instruction to infants or have the qualifications to. I am however certified to instruct all ages
Progression. I love seeing the hard work my students put in and the results that come from it. :)

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I begin with an evaluation so I can asses their standings in the water and go on to create a personal instruction model for each student. I implement a Swim-Roll-Swim approach for students to engage not only in proper strokes, but water safety as well
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I became certified as a swim instructor about 3 years ago and trained to be water safer at The Swim Academy in Weston, Fl. After some time, I was given the opportunity to become not only a private swim coach but an academy PE swim coach where I cooordinated 1 hour level training classes for students. I then went on to Paladin academy for students with disabilities as a PE swim coach while working one on one with students at the convenience of their homes.
