About
My approach to singing is rooted in creating a deep understanding of the body as our instrument. We'll start our vocal practice on yoga mats and open up our bodies before deep breathing pranayama exercises, vocal warm-ups, ear-training, and finally repertoire and artistry. In person lessons at my studio offer a relaxing environment to focus on your craft with scented oil diffusers, meditative music, and water infusions reminiscent of a spa or yoga studio. Here you'll not only learn the tools and foundations of good singing but also release stress in the mind and body. I believe singing is for everyone, not just career vocalists, and that vocal lessons can be therapeutic and helpful in living a balanced lifestyle. Release your inner wild, your personal sound, your voice that resonates throughout the universe with me at The Inner Wild Voice Studio. Kristina holds a BFA from the Boston Conservatory in Musical Theatre with an emphasis in Stage Direction. She has performed as a contemporary music vocalist in numerous professional bands for the past 11 years upon her graduation from the conservatory. Her personal teaching style is relaxed and infuses yoga and pranayama to ensure the best results in her students. She loves working with beginners and is the perfect candidate for those with interests in jazz, r&b, rock and pop vocal styles. Her lessons for students with non-professional interests can be used for mind, body and soul therapy.

How did you get started teaching?
I started my own studio as a way to share knowledge with others. So many people would come up to me and say they couldn't sing but I'm of the belief singing is for everyone. It builds community and is tribal and a staple of the human experience.
What types of students have you worked with?
All ages and levels! Come as you are!
