As a very busy performer in the field, I offer much insight to a singer/performer and to students who are pursuing a performing arts career. I focus on proper technique and help with developing the expression of a song. Otherwise known as "acting the song". I also help prepare students for auditions.
I love working one-on-one with voice students. I like to see them develop and really grasp vocal technique. More importantly, I love when I can help a student get a part or be accepted to a school from an audition.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I typically determine first if they have ever had any voice training. Through basic warm-up exercises I listen carefully how well they hear tones and scales. I determine the voice range and we go from there. For more advanced students, I work with them on technique and expression of a song.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been training in voice for over 30 years. I have a vocal performance and music degree and I actively perform as a professional singing actress.
