Five Flags Dance Academy
About
We are Pensacola's premier dance studio and have been in business for 29 years. We are currently the Best of the Bay, Best Dance Studio for 2017. Our instructors have well over 100 years of experience and several have degrees in dance. We build character, self-respect and self-esteem through the art of dance. Our award winning competition team travels throughout the year and competes nationally. The competition and performing team performs at numerous community events during the year. We help our students get dance scholarships to various universities. Not only do we offer professional dance instruction, but we also get our dancers involved in the community. What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Do you research and visit a studio that has been in business for awhile. There's a reason a Studio lasts a long time. There's many studios that are "fly-by-night". I would also pick up the phone and schedule a tour. We highly encourage this.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Where they have danced.
How many years of experience.
Desired outcome...recreational or professional or just to get excercise.
